motorcycle jack

I have a 92 kantana 600, with a Vance and Hines exhaust. I want to buy a motorcycle jack but the placement of the exhaust pipe could prevent the bike jack to work safely. Have anyone had this issue?

I know I have several other options(rear stand) but I was looking for soemthing so I can take the front tire off the ground as well.

I have the basic rack from Harbor Freight. It does not work well with my Bandit, unless I block the bike with some 2x4 or 4x4's. then it's okay, but not great. Still, worth the $30 I paid for it, used.

It works, after a fashion, as a car transmission jack, too.
