idle increase after oil change

Idle was high after changing oil, is this normal?,
Do you have to increase the idle when your oil is old and thick?
And decrease the idle with new oil since its thinner??

Someone else had the same problem last week. I want to say it was a pinched throttle cable. Try a search for the same problem and see what it was. Good luck.
