can i chop my subframe and still be stable to ride the bike or can i chop it and move it because in going to make my own race tail fairing and it will look tacky with the rear subframe.im trying to get a similiar look of waltri's but with out the price but i want to use the stock tail fairing because i like it alot. thanks in advanced

i wonna glo with that look but i like the stock tail. what i want to do is cut the tail fairing so that it runs the same lines as in previous posts but the way i want to cut it the subframe sticks out and looks pretty ugly lol. i read the posts about that but didnt understand it idkwanted a busa but bought a kat like it alot very nice to ride lol

ohhhh. well you have to follow the same rules they did.
There is a fair amount of grinding and welding to be done. If you don't own a small grinder and a welder you
are looking at some money there.
Other wise the cost of material (new tubes) is low.
If you are clever you can get away with relocating the
rails and reuse the stock pegs and such.
I plan to do the same thing. Not remove the rail but
relocate them so they match my modified rear fairing.

thats exactly what i want to do is relocate them.i was lookin at the bike today and didnt know the pegs tied in to them till now. i get it and im gonna relocate them i am going to get a modified tail section. do you have any pictures of your? cuz im thinking of a crazy looking tailwanted a busa but bought a kat like it alot very nice to ride lol
