  • Choke cable problem

I need some help. I cannot figure out how to detach the choke cabel from the carburetors. If anyone could explain how to do this to me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

I have just done this on my 750. If you have the tank off and are looking at the cable it runs from right to left up to the lever. At the end of the choke bar the cable slots into a socket (this is the end running up to the lever). Pull the cable back to the left so the direction is parallel with the bards. The cable when its clear of the socket can be slid back down the grouve (left to right) and then released. This will give you plenty of slack to get the cable out of the right hand end of the choke bar
