  • Bandit vs. Katana fork question

I did some looking, and I know the 600 Bandit and the Katana use the same forks, brakes, and front wheel, but that they use a different set of triple trees, presumably for the slightly different rake angle. Does anyone know if the fork spacing is the same on the two? Thanks!

Rake angle is decided by the headstock.
Triple trees decide the offset and trail.

Also I don't think the Bandit does use the same parts as the Kat..

Pretty sure that for certain years the forks are the same, except for maybe the brake caliper mounts.

If he uses a WHOLE FRONT END form a Bandit, wouldn't THAT work? Rims for certain years are the same, forks tops & lenght of forks are same, and if he get the front brake system with it, should work, eh?

What he & I were chatting about was the center to center spread on the forks............between the two bikes...........
I've owned over 70 Katanas - you think I know anything about them?
Is there such a thing as TOO MANY BIKES?
Can you go TOO FAST on a bike?
