Just get a maglite and a timer, hehehe. You been riding long? I know with cars you start to just hear shift points, and then a shift light is relatively useless. And it's my understanding that when you get into the higher revs (when a light is actually needed to prevent overevving) you can do a similar audible shift point. I think a light flashing at me would just distract me from riding.

i race my bike at the local track not alot but enought i think a light might help my times its kind of hard to hear your motor out there sometimes were does the light plug into? i saw a msd didtal one that looked nice and small and easy to use
