Isn't the maximum weight capacity stamped right on the frame in front of the gas tank below the handlebars? Where the VIN, production date and all that stuff is. It is on mine. I have a 600, but I think the max weight capacity is around 950 lbs. Not sure, bike is home sleeping in the garage...****** WAS...Ma Ma Ma My Katana ******

The bike + you + passenger + gear cannot exceed 970lbs. This is called GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating)
I mean 440.91 kilo
