  • Microfiche anyone?.... Chain Guard screws..

Okay so yesterday riding heard some scratching noises, pulled over and saw that I lost both my chain guard screws and guard was rubbin my chain Good thing wasn't on the freeway! Anyways, put the guard in my bag, checked the chain and continued on. Two questions 1) Anyone got the microfiche to tell me the bolt sizes for it 2) Does it pose and problems to ride w/o a chainguard?

    As always, thanks to all!
Ray - Thank you, may I have another?

or jsut go to lowes or home depot and get you some. Since Fred posted the size. They are like $0.94 for 4 of them.

What he said. I rode without mine for a couple of weeks when I lost one of 'em. No loss really - you just need to be a little bit more careful of where your foot is and I probably wouldn't allow a passenger on until the guard is re-installed.

The dealer wanted like $5-per-bolt IIRC. I went with a metric "approved equal".
