Putting Coils back on plz help quick!

Its a 89' 600 and Iv'e had it torn down for about 6 months and can't remember how to put it back together. Does cylinder #1 start on the left or right side of the motor? Also does anyone know of any high performance wires out there becuase mine are shot.

cyl #1 is on the left hand side while sitting on the bike. check your coils, some have the wires epoxied in place so they cant be changed without alot of work.

There SHOULD be a little plastic clip keeping the wires in that will more than likely break when you try to pull it off .
