Pre98 750 exhaust help
1st post.
After looking and searching, I think I will just ask the question...
I have a 90 750F. When I bought it a few years ago, it came with a V&H 4 into 1 pipe and I love it. The collector has since rusted out and has a big gaping hole in it and my buddy who welds for a living said the area its in and the metal around it is too thin to repair.
I'm a bit confused on the "conversion thing". Am I able to put a B12 header on the bike? Just have to dent the collector? Then put a mid pipe and can of choice on it? BTW, I replaced the pan a year ago with a brand spanking new one due to a leak at the drain plug... same area the collector rusted out.
