upper plastics

i found a detailed how-to sticky about taking off the lower fairings and windscreen, but i didn't see any instructions on how to remove the upper plastics, which im assuming would need to be done for the mesh mod.

is that right?you have to attach the mesh to the inside of the body, right? how do i get those pieces off?
