How much modification did it take ?

I still like the 04-05 gixer tails on the pre98 though

Pretty lot of modding, cut off the frame just past the battery box,fabbed some plates to tie upper and lower frame together that I had cut , welded that in, bolted subframe to new side plates, lots of grinding & welding.also cut old rear tail section to tie old and new bodywork together, Paint still in progress.

still picking away at this tail swap, lots of painting, you get one thing cleaned up and painted and something next to it looks like crap so that gets taken off to paint and so on.....got new tires so might as well paint the wheels, i hope i get this done by June
