I have a 01 750. Has anyone take the top tree/clipons and flipped them over to lower the bars. Is it even possible. Nevermind the eye sore it would create just wondering if its possile and if so did it cause any clearance issues?

Swap the top triple for the 600, will drop it 1". If you want lower than that, then put the 600 clamps (they are seperate unlike the 750s) on the oposite side and under neath the triple top.
