I just put on my new yoshi pipe & was wandering how many of you use the extra baffle that they give you?

I did. It's loud enough with it installed. Depends on your local police/regulations also....and how much you care about your neighbours... just try it on and off....

I usually fire up at 5:15 am and go for late night rides, so typically I leave it in. But with it out, it sounds siiiiiiiiick. I do notice more pronounced vibrations passing through 7k rpm with it out but other than that the only other thing i've noticed is the big grin on my face hearing it

Umm, anybody got any pics? I have a RS-3 that I picked up used. It isn't obnoxiously loud so I figure:
            A. Its in there
            B. The RS-3 doesn't apply?

Well if my yoshi has a baffle, i dont think it can come out. There isnt anything to pull out unless i gut it. Its loud enough anyway so i wouldnt want to take mine out even if i could.

6 kat, looks like u have a pre, which i dont think came with a baffle/silencer... the RS-3 new came with a baffle. look inside the end of your exhaust. there should either be : a. two holes where bolts go in or b. two bolts holding the baffle in. If u just have bolts holding nothing in, the baffle is not in there. there is a HUGE difference when you take the baffle out.... i LOVE the sound when i go on short rides, but when i got more than 100 miles, i put it in. it screams when the baffles in, more like howls when the baffles out. i like the throatier howl better. so i keep myne out

Baffle in, no jet kit. Sounds great!

You cant tell from that picture that the silencer is in. i think he wanted to see a pic of the pipe looking into the exhaust
