i've done 2 350+ mile rides and put 5k miles since i did the conversion and no issues with discomfort. they do make various handlebar risers for the busa from like 1/2 inch to 2 inches.Chrome Project Part 1

At the time I did the setups on mine and mreedohio's bike, there were hardly any 08-09's to be had and if there were some the price was over either of our budgets. Now that there are 2 years of parts for them flying around the price has gone down some. Swept spokes would be great on the pre forsure!TDA Racing/Motorsports

Do you know if you can mix and match 99-07/08-09 forks, wheels, and rotors? For example if I want the 99-07 forks & triples, but an 08-09 wheel with radial calipers. So far my search says it is not a straight swap - requiring caliper mounts at a minimum.-2000 "750"

I used a post 98 katana rear wheel to keep the spokes the same. You can also check some of the bandit 400 and 600 stuff and see if that will work.TDA Racing/Motorsports
