Muffler temperature?

The title says it all I used the search and could not find any valid information for me. All I need to know how hot the mufflers can get on a stock 93' GSX600F Katana.

Its a 2-1 ? system on both sides and I´m not sure if thats 100% stock.

Hot....really Hot....not glowing red metal or nothing but hot enough to leave skin burned to it if you touch your leg to it.

If thats the pic from here looks like stock cans it looks the same as my pre setup(stock)

350-700 degrees or so on the temp depending on where you measure... avg of around 450 or so on the lowers, 650 just as they come out of the heads, when cruising around would be about right probably.

The bike pictured has the stock exhaust cans on it.
