cam swap question

So i was talking to a friend today, he said that he thought you were only supposed to swap the EX cam and leave the IN cam alone unless doing a big bore kit. Does anyone know if thats true or not? I wanted to swap the 89 gsxr 750 cams in my 06 kat 600. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Not true... search out the "how to" on cam swaps - If anything you'll can do the IN without doing the EX; but I don't think you go the other way around.
