  • pre 750 hugger

Bought a hugger a few years back, i think from a bandit or sv . Since i'm rebuilding my bike I decided to take another look at it. The only thing I did was cut a small notch around the brake caliper arm. It recently sparked my interest again since I would really like to use it, and I know a lot of bikes don't have this mod. Does anyone else have this mod or any info about it. I know i will have to grind the tabs on the swingarm off and relocate them because they don't line up. When I hold it up to the bike it also seems very close to the tire , it seems like vibration may send it into the tire.

ive got a powerbronze bandit 600 hugger on my pre98, just need to accommodate to the fact that the bandit brake arm is below the swinger and the pre98's is above the swingarm. all in all after removing it a couple times, its damn near a bolt-on mod.
