  • Jet Kit rating

    i'm thinking about buying an Ivans Jet kit. Please rate on a scale of 1-10 your experience with your jet kit's improvement as follows:

    1 = no difference

    5 = you can kind of tell a little improvement

    10 = holy c rap, this is like a new bike, i would buy it even if it was twice the price!

    and everything in between.

    thanks for your input.

    I would go with 7 and I would not recommend Ivan's.

      You'll feel the jet kit in the butt dyno... but you are talking small gains in most cases.

      What you will see, is your fuel mileage dropping.

      I think the best bang for the buck is the ignition advancer, and I only say that because it helps the bike get up to temp faster.

          If it wasn't such a PITA, I would take the jet kit out of the bandit

              I would, because the bike runs better

              If you ride a motorcycle for the gas mileage, get a Smart car, and live among the other douches of society...

              Best money I ever spent on the Katana...
