  • 2003 Kat 600 exhaust mod ?

    Hey I jus got the bike bone stock, ordered a Yosh pipe for it. Question is do I need to rejet with slip on exhaust ?

    As far as I know you don't have to rejet it. However rejetting would take more advantage of that slip on....

          i would not rejet .....you will have a great sound and still get 40-45 miles per gallon...if you rejet your mpg will go way -way down and it will still be one of the slowest -600s ...im happy with the power of my 2002 -600 but then its for sale too

            providing the jet kit is installed properly HP will increase and fuel mileage wont suffer any notice able amount.

            poor mileage and power loss are due to re-jetting to rich.
