  • Tail Pipe Expander

I just bought a D&D and Im waiting (seems like forever) for it to come in the mail. Anywho, ive been reading, and it seems some people have trouble with the midpipe. Is a pipe expander necessary, if so where I can get one and for how much? Thanks. Any other installation tips are helpful.

mine included a hammer and a 6in long 2*4, to answer you question you can rent them from most major chain auto parts stores. We used one from orilleys to put some bubb pipes on an electra glide.

Try the exhaust shop. My friend owns one and he has flared pipes for me many times in seconds.

Is it a slip on or full system?

Autozone has them as a "free loaner tool." You basically pay $19.95 for it, then get it refunded when you return it.

I've got one, drive 8 hours over here and I'll do it for free, but yeah loaner tool at parts store is the way to go.
