Hello everyone!
Glad to be here, looks like you guys do some crazy things to these Kats! Looks good! Ive got an 88 gsxr 750 and I usually hang over at gixxer.com
Anyways, a buddy of mine just bought a 97 Kat 600. He wants some more sound out of the exhaust and I was wondering if anyone has taken the factory dual pipes apart and either 1.) taken the baffles out or 2.) Shortened the exhaust some? I know where he can buy a full Yosh exhaust for cheap but then he'd have to buy a jet kit. I figure if he just modded the stock exhaust it would still run decent with no jetting. Or maybe not? Not sure how sensitive these Kats are as I've never worked on one.
Any help/info would be great, thanks guys!
