        Chopped mine off as high as possible. Completely gone.

        I bought a chunk of aluminum and bent up my own bracket which incorporated signal mounts that moved the factory directionals right up to the plate.

        I bent the plate at just enough of an angle that it is now my mudflap. Water, rocks etc, hit the underside of my plate instead of my taillight.

        Cost = zilch, zero, zip...nada
