Hi is it possible te weld a tank to repair a hole or would anyone suggest another method

Cleaned and filled with water to prevent fumes from building up = safe welding option. Generally a combo of welding and brazing for sealing is best patching optionally. Finally seal inside with por-15 for permanent rust prevention.
