  • removing the glue

    cant figure for the life of me on how to get the glue that was left behind when i took the oe stickers of my 95 kat what do i have to do ? anyone ?

    WD-40 and a stout cotton towel. Let the WD sit on the glue for a few minutes to soften it, then scrub.

          I used Thermo-Aid from Napa. Its 99.9% isopropyl alcohol. Worked pretty well.

            A hair dryer followed by your thumb works pretty well, too.

              "Pin Stripe Remover"

              Search it on eBay...

              It's a giant rubber eraser wheel that is made to take off this glue/ graphics from cars.

              Works awesome and that is how I did it on my 92.

                What the last guy said. I couldnt get the sticker on the tank off when my buddy was going to paint my bike and he laughed at me because i told him i spend like an hour on it and he took 2 seconds with that rubber thing. way to easy.

                  I used Goo Gone, worked fine for taking the stickers off my bike.

                      i use a heat gun and my thumb..... or goo gone works well too.
