02 fairings fit 06 katana

Does anybody know if the 02 fairings will fit the 06 frame?? I'm not too sure about this one.

Yeah, they'll fit, but the tail end is different. Too make the 02 body work on an 06, you'll need the 98-02 dog boner looking tail light.

pretty sure the undertail is different to go along with the tail plastics as well...not 100% though...

Tail plastics too, not just the light... and the undertails are so close that it may work.

So:

03+ Tail plastics
03+ Tail light
03+ Tail light bracket
03+ Tail light harness (need two lights now, not just one)
Maybe the undertail
And a little rigging to get your seat lock to work

99-07 busa tail light is the same... so you can probably find one cheap on ebay because someone replaced their OEM one with something busariffic...


EDIT: ugh... nevermind I was going the opposite direction (older than 03 to 03+)... I'll leave it up in case someone strolls onto it and needs it..

thanks cherriff. I'm debating whether or not i should buy the OEM fairings from some guy who's selling it on the parts page. I'm still not sure. I have to check up the costs of buying all the other stuff.
