I got some Mothers scratch removal stuff ... how long should I expect rubbing the pain before I start not seeing the scratch anymore heahea

I also have Meguiars scratch X ... which didn't seem to work as well ...
    I ride, therefore I am.

It depends on how deep the scratch is.

Run your fingernail over it. If anything catches, it's likely through the clear and you'll need to paint.

I use a Mother's Powerball on my cordless drill and it works great for taking the light scratches out. Lil scratch-x... and about 5 minutes with the power ball.

You can also use 2000 grit wetsandpaper if it can't be buffed out. Just be careful not to go through the clear coat. Even if it is through the clear, wetsanding some will help make it fade. After wetsanding you will have to buff the shine back in.

you use those on rims at all? was thinking about getting the small one to do some hard to reach parts on the bike since I have paws instead of hands.

They make a "mini ball" now just for such things
