Paint Question
some of u have already seen pics of my 06 600. Now I'm planing to get it painted. I have a friend that works at a body shop. I'm buying the paint and removing the parts myself. This is were my question comes into play. my bike (like many) is blue & white, I was wondering if the entire gas tank has to come off or if the blue top part is just a removable cover?? Thanks in advance for the help. Can't wait to post pics of how it comes out.

Remove the tank.
Remove ALL Gas from said tank.
Remove filler trim ring (where you put the gas in) as mentioned.
Sit the tank off to the side in a well ventilated area for a day or two to let it air out.Comment
