  • Rust on Frame

I bought my bike new in August. I've noticed some rust starting around some of the welds. It's like the powder coating did'nt seal around the welds to good. The bike has only been wet twice from me washing it and it's been in the garage. It's not that bad but it's kinda anoying me. I also have a 99 HD Sportster I checked the frame on it and it still looks like new. Anybody else have this happen?? Think I should have the stealership look at it??

    Thanks
    Frank

Well , the frame IS steel , so rust ain't out of the question . Hit it with some fine steel wool (.000 grade) to get it off , then you can hit the area with some denatured alcohol to clean it , then some touch up paint . Gloss black model paint looks pretty close to the color of the frame .
