Oh and what do ya know...Its already cracking!!

Well its been said many times on here lately its either make one yourself or watch on ebay for a fibreglass knockoff one. Unless you get lucky and find someone selling a braada cowl.
BTW heres the pics of my cowl. Blocked it out, Skimmed the whole thing with filler(easier to do the whole thing and block it than to try to work several spots of filler besides 90% of it comes back off when you sand it.) , Blocked it out, Then primed it. Now I need to sand and paint.

I can't wait till i get my bike out of winter hibernation! The copy-cowl needs a lot of fitting, and my bike is 55kilometres away... GRRR!
All i need to install before summer is:
New D&D exhaust
Newly painted lower fairing
Hugger alignment
LED blinkers
Cheese bracket
And the all important Cowl...!
I'm a beginner in bodywork... But from what i've seen on American Hotrod, all i need is some bondo/filler and sandpaper... And i'll have it looking as nice as yours Erik. (i hope)
edit: can you take some pictures of the no-hole mounting solution you talked about?Last edited by MiloDK; 01-30-2008, 03:47 PM.
