does anybody know where i can find the factory kat seat cowl, or atleast something equal to it? The only thing i can find is tha targa and maier ones and they suck.

I got mine when I bought the bike. Mine is the original Suzuki one.
You can try airtech-streamline A search on Google will turn up their website. They have them for just under $50 but they don't have the pad that the factory ones have. Unfortuntely there are not a lot of choices out there for Katanas.
