I have used aircraft striper on a jag once, it is some powerful stuff. I see the tape and was wondering if it would eat the rubber? or if some could seep through the tape onto the rubber?

Like i said ...don't sling the stripper around and you'll be fine. I never got any on my tires so...

If ya do get it on the tires, just hose it off and you should be fine.

I was looking at your bike in your rider profile and your rims look like you've already done them or are they just painted in grey/silver?

        They stock gold/faded!! lol

I want to color match with the bike and polish the lip. My next project as of tomorrow!! the tires are fairly new and I don't want to ruin them or deal with the extra time of taking them off. thank you for the 411.
