Here are some pics of my attempt to paint my Kat, I had a friend do some repairs to the left fairing so I thought it would be nice to paint the rest of the bike at the same time. I will hopefully have the bike back together today. and will post more pics when I am finished.

I originally thought I would use PPG base/clear but the guy at the local auto parts store suggested I try this. Its a 1 part paint and under half the price It went on real nice, even for a first timer like myself.
I had the bike all together and zipped out for a ride.... and the plugs fouled and I had to limp back home and tear the farings off to change out the plugs, hope to get to the assembled pics tomorrow.

Here is the progress so far. I am planning on doing the tank this fall as well as a touchup to the plastic as my sanding wasnt as great as it could have been.
I have been waiting since April for a new speed screen I ordered from a dealer in Vancouver. I finally convinced him to give me my money back. Hopefully I will have better luck online.Today is the Tomorrow that you worried about Yesterday....
