  • Front and rear wheel torq spec???

    Anyone know right off what to torq my 96 Kat 600 wheel axles to?

    yes.

    click the WIKI link at the top of the page
    Search for "SERVICE MANUAL"
    Download the one for your bike.
    the torque specs are in the service manual.

    you should have this anyway, go get it.

    not being a jerk here, if I were to go get the numbers for ya I'd be opening my service manual file

      Front axle is (with cotter pin)..36-52nm or 26-37.5lbs
      (self locking nut) 44-63nm or32-45.5lbs
      Rear axle (with cotter pin)50-80nm or36-58lbs
      (self locking nut) 55-88nm or 40-63.5lbs
      And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

        I have a Manuel at home I forgot to bring with me or wright it down and all I have is access to here on my phone so I was pressed for time. I got it though.
