Stupid Sale on Continental Conti Motion Sport Touring

Competition Accessories is having a crazy sale on Conti Motion Sport tires.


$154.61 - $167.92 A SET!

A need some cheap commuting tires to get me through till July.
Anyone have any experience running these?

I've heard good things about the Motions. That price is insane, the rear alone usually costs more than that.

http://www.motosport.com/motorcycle/...MBO/?id=118071 motosport is a little cheaper. they have the 170/60 in stock. the 170/60 is what i have on the rear of my 98 750. lasted about 4k miles. i ordered a 160/60 to replace it from mcsuperstore. a few dollars more but they had it in stock. they stick fine, esp. for the price.

You can buy them at Motorcycle-Superstore.com as well for slightly cheaper by a $1 or 2. Not listed as a set, but by the individual tires and sizes if you pick a pair... came up to total of $166.98 for the most expensive set compared to the listing above.

Looks like Conti is just putting them on sale so everyone is passing along the savings.

Tempting at that price, especially at the rate I'm burning through tires. That set price is about what my rear PR3 cost me.

I haven't heard any real "negative" reviews.

you saving about $25-$35 a set with that deal. Not a huge sale
they are still making 25% profit on the tires after costs

Thanks you guys! JC Motors has them at $160.87 a set and they're local. Gonna pick them up this morning. Might pick up an second set after payday if the sale is still going on and save them for the summer.
