  • RPM ? w/new set-up

Alright, I recently changed my sprocket/chain config. I know my MPH have changed. I am wanting to know if the RPM's would be the same in MPH???

At 6k RPM my speedo says approx. 78MPH, what is stock set-up MPH @ 6k RPM and would it the MPH be the same?

    5k RPM is approx. 55MPH,.

I am trying to estimate my speed so I do not get a ticket.
I know on an old truck I had, I would go by the RPM's due to speedo not working, but didn't know if I could do the same on my bike since the change.

Motorcycle speed and sprocket calculator with bike database for gearing, sprockets, tires and chains of over 1900 bikes. Request yours to be added as well.

Input your set up, and it should be able to tell you the approximate speedo error.

Thanks, I forgot about that link. It says I am running about 66.9 MPH @ 6k RPM's.

        Probably not a 119, more likely a 118 or 120.

        Just because they sound the same doesn't mean they are: there≠their≠they're; to≠too≠two; its≠it's; your≠you're; know≠no; brake≠break
