    Check your tire pressure!

I rode my bike to work today noticing that it was handling really really funny. I get home from work and wait for my step dad to get home so I could go to my moms and check my tire pressure. He owns his own tire company. I ride over there with the bike all over the place, but it was only about 2 miles away. I check my tire pressure and it was 30psi front tire and 5psi rear!!! WOW. So we got some soapy water and found a super small pin hole leak. He went ahead and plugged it up until I can afford new tires. On the way home I bought a tire gauge and put it in the bike so I can check it everytime before I ride.

So... what kind of tires should I get for daily riding? Where should I purchase them at?

So many options, so little information.

For a commuter/play/high mileage tire, I've been as happy with the Dunlop Roadsmarts as anything I've run on the Kat, but lately the prices on those guys keep creeping up, so next set of Kat tires will probably be Michelin Pilot Road 2. I liked them on the Buell; they wore extremely well, and they gripped great in the rain.

      Just because they sound the same doesn't mean they are: there≠their≠they're; to≠too≠two; its≠it's; your≠you're; know≠no; brake≠break

I think I will go Conti Road Attack, stock size in front and 160/60 in the rear. That will fit a stock Post 600 right?

Michelin Pilot roads came on my bike two years ago. Still on the bike today. about 10k miles...half highway, half backroads if I had to divide it up. GREAT tires, Ill probably get them again when these wear out. They do ridiculously well in the wet, and love to grip in the dry.
