  • Sprockets replaced

I bought the Vortex sprockets (15 front and 47 rear). I also bought the 530 EK chain. I had these parts almost a week now.

Removing the rear tire is easy. So as the other parts attached to it. Removing the front sprocket is bit time consuming as you have to remove the left fairing, clutch, speedo, 6 bolts, lock nut, bolt before getting the front sprocket out.

Now I have to find out how to break the chain. tried smashing it but tough. I will try again tomorrow.

Also cleaned the rim and painted glossy red. The back sprocket I bought is red aswell. Loooks good!!!!! Can't wait to finish up.

you can break the chain with a chain tool, or you can use bolt cutters... or, you can use a dremel/grinder and grind off the heads of two rivets on a link, and use a flat-head and a hammer to pound it off. set it up on the rear sprocket so it's held in place.
