Pilot Powers for me. Lots will say Metzeler Z6. Conti's aren't bad either.

Beeen Running the Metzeler z6 for about 13k miles now. No real complaints, but when I switched from the factory Macadams the bike was more twitchy if that's the word. I mean, for example, when slowing to a stop the bike doesn't want to naturally stay straight, it takes more input on the handlebars like it wants to fall over.

On the other side of that, the bike's tendency to fall onto it's side also meant far better handling.

The wear was good, but if you ride weekends I'd probably recommend something more sporty. I may try the pilot powers out this time just for kick.

CenCalKat turned me on to Bridgestone Battlaxes both front and back, and he was right. Good tires and affordable. He went coast to coast and back on his and still made an excellent showing on the Dragon.
