I can get a pair of Avon AM26's for $165 shipped for my 2000 Kat 600. Good deal? I'm not sure if anyone on this forum runs Avons. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I just thought of that, great idea... Too bad the are bias ply tires... stick with radials.

Unless your bike is a pre98 model do not run bias-ply tires. The pre98 Kats came with bias-ply tires on them well the early ones did.

My last pair was a set of Avons. I liked them other than the bias issue. I am doing with Z6s this year
