Hell , I just did mine saturday . It's not THAT hard if you know a couple tricks .
1: A couple of 2X4's and a car DOES make a good ghetto bead breaker . Tire on a towl on the ground near car , short 2X4 on bead , long 2X4 (6-8') as a lever with the end under the car . Bead pops right off .
2: When putting on the new tire , it helps to kneel on it . The object is to get the bead on the backside in the MIDDLE of the wheel . That way you got more wiggle room to pry the other bead over . With a decent lever/iron , it's CAKE .
3: You WILL most likely ding your rim if you don't use rim protectors . Not a big deal if you don't care , but I hear some people DO .

The 2x4 bead breaking method is cheap and unbelievably fast and easy.
