  • Nail in tire,wrong size?

I picked up a nail in my tire today on the way home from work.I'm going to go ahead and get a new tire. The rear on this bike has a 180/55/17.BTW(04 gsx600).I've only had this bike for 12 days now.Isn't this the wrong size tire?Should i go back with a 160?What would be the best size for better handling?Thnx in advance

    Wow , a 180 on a Katana ( did you mean '04 gsx600F ) . Get you a 160/60 if that's the case ....

Well, you didn't tell us what size the nail was, so how do we know it's really the wrong size?
