  • 83 GS1100 front end swap & rear wheel

    Hey guys quick question.

Would a pre kat 600 front end bolt onto a gs1100e frame?

Did a quick google search and found out the stem bearings are the same size but I just wanted to confirm that will y'all.

Also will the pre kat 600 rear wheel, sprocket, and brake set up fit?

    Thanks in advance!

I'd check the stem lengths first.. the kat could be shorter than the GS or vice-versa. for the rear, check the axle size, you also may need spacers made to center the wheel, this also may have an effect on the chain line from the c/s sprocket to the rear sprocket.

I'd hit the GS forum and ask these questions, I'm sure its been well covered.
