  • tires and shock rebound tearing

My tires on the 98 750 after a day of some silly street riding are showing serious signs of rebound tearing. a lip on the leading edge and slight cup on the traing edge.
do I need a faster or slower rebound? right now its on the fastest setting on the OE shock, with preload set about the middle
im wondering if I need to revalve for faster rebound or slow it up?. I prefer the grip with the current set up but know thats its not right.

Yep pretty much. The stock valve is not bad inside so if you can find someone to reshim the stack you should be ok. Talking to several from Canada it seems suspension guys up there are a little on the thin side.

Oh wait you have Mission Cycle up there around you, Don't know if you know Todd Topper but he might be able to help you out.
