  • "New" Oil pan GRX600F, which yearmodel can I use?

    I have a '96 GSX600F and the oil pan has a crack and leaks oil. Found a used for a 1992 model. Can I use this part?

    Thanx!

        The seller replied it supported GSX600FT. What's the difference between GSX600FT and GSX600F?

          T references the year manufactured in this instance.

          The Katana uses the same oil pan on models 1988-1997.

          1988 = model J.

          You have letters J K L M N P R S T V to represent the years in that order, and is stamped on your vin plate. This is to speicifcy the model since the manufacture date could be either the year of or year prior to the model, thus confuses people what model you really have if there are changes (which happens).

          See http://www.suzukicycles.org/_misc/identification.shtml for more info.
