random vibration

    got a 1995 600...has new dunlop tires on new chrome rims and the front forks rebuilt...at around 60-65 it gets a vibration that comes and goes when i hit bumps...if i speed up or slow down it goes away....doesn't seem to matter what gear its in either....any input or suggestions would be appreciated

    New chrome rims....did those come with new bearings too? Did the tires get static balanced before you put them on the bike?

      tires balanced?
      high speed vibrations are caused by: 1.) unbalanced/improperly balanced tires...you need to get them re-balanced each time you replace tires.
      2.) frame not strait, something not aligned properly

        i put all new wheel bearings in front and rear...tires were balanced but maybe the guy did a bad job....there are weights on the rims though...i'll take off the wheels and have them checked out
