  • B 1200 shock change question

    Hello there
I just did the swap of a bandit 1200 shock to a pre 750. According to the search via here, it's possible.
It fit in ok but I think I'm touching on the dog bones just a little. The tires are off my bike so I can't put weight on it to c if it is rubbing. Just want to make sure it was suppose to be a direct fitment or was I suppose to do other things to make it fit. The shock was modified by a buddy(Tmod) hopefully he can chime in. All info is welcomed on a sugesstion.
    1990 GSXR 750 Slingshot(sold)
    1992 GSXF Katana 750(sold 2014)
1994 GSXF Katana 600 (gave away)
    2007 Suzuki Boulevard C-90 (sold)
    2003 GSX 1300R Hayabusa (purchased 2013)

I MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE BIGGEST DUDE YOUVE SEEN ON A 750 KAT.....

Measure the shock center to center and let me know what it is. I usually put spacers on the inside of the shock to shorten it and maybe yours needs to be shortened a tad bit more. Do NOT grind the lever!!!!! I say that as that was the fix around here for a bit to make it clear.

EDIT: Can you snap a pic of it and post it?
