I swapped to a b12 shock , and had it setup to give me a rather firm feel.

i liked it that way. but i noticed it made the bike sit so high that the chain touched the swing arm guard and was cutting deep grooves into it. so i adjusted it down.

    solved the problem.

but now! I feel like I'm sitting too low! I have decreases my ground clearance by lowering the pre load. how can i get my bike to be tall again without causing chain issues?
Please, Just go home, relax, and have a think or two... hell... have as many as you can handle! It'll do all of us some good.

IMO the stock B12 shock is too long center to center, My fix for the problem is internally shortening the shock and that way you can run the correct sag for your weight.
