The old pads must have gotten some oil on them when the PO had the brakes apart. The new pads gave me front brakes. Now i can throw my self over the bars....they are that good

The tach fixed its self also. When i test road the bike with the new pads it started reading correctly. However now my front left turn signal doesnt work.......its always something

I put new front brake lines on my bike and had problems with getting them bled. I read this post and cracked the MC and whamo, instant pressure.

      Thanks guys.

You have 17 year old brake lines. No matter how you slice it changing them is not a waste. You know I panic braked in my car once and blew out both front lines and the MC..
Last night my co-workers '94 Dodge pick up truck blew out an oem brake line. Luckily he was on his street and not going very fast when it happened.
Now I really think I should swap my lines...
