  • Pre-600 Suspension Linkages: Does anyone know..?

    Does anyone know either
    1) Where I can find scaled technical diagrams of the links on a pre-600?
    2) The complete dimension of the stock links (in mm )?

The reason for this is I'm going to make some lowering links, but I want to try doing it without the hassle of taking the bike apart, making the template, putting it back together, machining the parts, then taking it apart again and so on..

Anyone able to offer more insight than Google did?

191mm center to center on the bolt holes.

Stock links are curved for clearance of the shock.

Wolf, give me a few days and I can model the part in Auto cad for you.
Then I can either send you the DWG file or a dimensioned JPG..

A dimensioned image would be very welcome if you could. That would make this part of the project so much easier, thank you!

            Here you go Wolf...

Crazy part, Though castings are like that.
            Dimensions are in inches BTW...

If anything is fuzzy shoot me a PM with an email and I'll send you the JPG.
If you want the DWG (Autocad file ) I'll send that too, I cannot convert to DXF though..

Just the little task left of converting old money to new and I should be ready to hit the machines
